Adaptive Flower Vases







Students drew their vases with washable markers, then went over their drawing

with a wet brush to make the colors bleed.

  1. I think you are the only other art blog, or teacher for that matter, that I have come across that also does adaptive, life skills, special education, call it want you want...art. I have two groups of adaptive art (one that works at about a 1-2 year old level and one that works on a pre-school level), and struggle so much with coming up with lessons sometimes. Do you know any other adaptive teachers? Maybe we could make a little joint idea page...

  2. In Green Bay where I teach, there are 15 some elementary schools and maybe 1/2 have adaptive Art. I think I am the only one of our elementary art staff that has a blog except for my friend Leah, but I don't think she posted any adaptive art lessons. Her site is below:
