O'Keeffe Skulls and Flowers

In Art class, 4th graders have been studying the art of Georgia O’Keeffe (1887-1986). O’Keeffe was born in Wisconsin. Later in life, she moved to New Mexico where she fell in love with the desert. O’Keeffe painted large flowers, skulls, and sunsets. Students created two artworks like O’Keeffe, a flower and a skull. They concentrated on blending colors the way O’Keeffe did.
