Cardinals
In Art class, third graders learned all about cardinals. They are such a popular bird, seven states have named them their state bird! We also learned that the male cardinals are bright red and the females are brown. Students painted cardinals on a branch on a snowy day.
Beautiful work third graders!

Warm/Cool Suns
In Art class, 4th graders studied different types of lines while creating these sun drawings. Students also had to show an understanding of warm and cool colors while they were coloring their designs with markers.
*Thank you to my friend over at "what's happening in the art room" blog for this idea!*
