In Art class, fourth graders learned the difference between shape (2-D) and form (3-D) while creating these papier mache pets. Students could choose between a cat or a dog and they could decorate their pet to look realistic or abstract.

They are adorable! Are those cardboard cones inside? Did you have to weight them down in any way to keep big-nose dogs from tipping over?

ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, those are cardboard cones inside. They use to have yarn wrapped around them and are very thick cardboard. Had not issues with any tipping. Thanks Marcia for posting the pic on your site! :)
